Location was perfect. I could easily walk to Main Street, restaurants, shops, etc. Close to Bass Lake, Cone Manor, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. House was not too big and not too small. Appreciated the garage. Had a small glitch with the locks which was resolved by Property Manager. Best was that I was able to escape another hot summer in a hot city.

We had a fantastic five days at Willow #5. The check in and checkout process was a breeze. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was unbelievably stocked with everything that we needed and more. The gas fireplace was heavenly. The location is quiet and we slept very well. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We Love Chetola... the trails the location to town the restaurant the activities but the furniture condition in Willow 5 is NOT comfortable for long term renters .. we have consistently rented this unit now for 10 years thru 2 rental agencies . The living room furniture is sooo old that the couch sinks every time you sit down the 2 red chairs are to small and uncomfortable to sit in as you have to take the small cushions off the back to sit down I’ve even cleaned them myself .. the carpet stinks and it’s old too and needs to. E cleaned more often or replaced and in the past I’ve even told the rental people that I’d pay for it to be cleaned . The lamps are unstable and falling apart. For long term rentals the furniture should be comfortable . I know there’s several stores that you can even buy second hand furniture. I can’t for whatever reason keep the refrigerator the same temperature and I have a video of it dripping water . It all depends on the temperature outside or what the thermostat is on.
One year we actually found someone to come out a fix the frig because the rental agency wasn’t responding ..
This year it froze all the creams located in the back yogurts sour cream heavy cream etc sorry about all the negatives but it’s time the owners realized that it’s needs to be cleaned up

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. The location is perfect, near the pool and lake. Great setup. Unit is dated but no issues other than cleanliness. None of the tables had been cleaned off (very dusty), but after we cleaned, we were happy. Would book again.

My family has spent several Thanksgiving Holidays at Little House on Main and we have always found it extremely comfortable and convenient. Check in is quick and easy and management is very responsive if the need arises.

We had an amazing trip to Blowing Rock! Little House on Main was perfect! The home is decorated to perfection! Location was perfect! We most definitely will be back!

This is our second time staying here. The house is lovely and was spotless, the fenced back yard is a bonus for our dogs. Walking to restaurants and shops is super nice.

We had the absolute best time staying at the little house on main during our wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces, which made for such a peaceful place to unwind in between the festivities.
The location could not have been better so we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go all weekend long. It made the experience so convenient and enjoyable for us and our guests.
Working with jenkins rental company leading up to our stay was also wonderful. They were easy to communicate with, very personable, and made the whole booking and payment process smooth. Check-in and checkout were seamless, which gave us one less thing to worry about during such a busy weekend.
Overall, this home truly exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to stay for such a special occasion, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located rental in the area.

We Loved this Meticulously refurbished home right in town. The home was Clean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with all we needed when we did cook in. Food Lion is 3 minute dr. Linville winery about 30 minutes was nice, Hiking everywhere, Perfect home base. The Front porch is awesome with the cool air for sitting out. The fire pit is nice for cooler nights also. Walking to town was easy along the sidewalks. You can walk to Bass Lake also. When walking up from driveway, be careful and hold on to rail if your like me and lose balance. We will rent Little house on Main again, feels like home!

Well designed, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained home in an excellent location. Beds were comfortable with very nice linens. Fenced yard was perfect for our mini doodle. The front porch is the main attraction of this home—so enjoyable in the mornings and evenings. The owners have thought of every detail. We only stayed three nights, but all four of us adults said we’d love to come back for a longer stay sometime.

We have stayed at the Little House three times and will continue to go back. The location is perfect and the house is always neat and clean.

The accommodations were thoughtfully arranged and very stylish. The convenience to town is a big plus. Blowing Rock also added a sidewalk all the way up to Bass Lake so getting in your morning walk or run is super easy.

The check-in process was flawless, and the house is adorable and spotless - just as pictured. We walked to dinner each night. The fenced-in lot was great for the dogs. The people booked before us didn't clean up after their dog, so we did it for them. Don't understand some people.

What an amazing week in a place we hold dear to our hearts. This gem of a house is impeccably clean, stocked with all you need and located in the heart of town. We had the best week! So relaxing. Perfect weather-even some snow! A fabulous fire pit, gorgeous gas logs. It was a cozy vacation that we enjoyed immensely before the hustle of the holiday season hits! We will be back. We weren't at the house long enough to really enjoy the firepit and yard area, but we will next time! Let's talk about the front porch...that was our favorite thing about the house! It's the perfect spot for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. The house is the perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. We loved it and will be back soon!

Unfortunately we arrived during the worst of Hurricane Helena and the staff at Jenkins were all trying to just secure and clear their own homes so the house wasn't available to us. I don't even think there was any power. Jenkins was wonderful about issuing a full refund. I am giving all of the questions 5 stars. We have stayed with Jenkins many times and they have always been great.

The Little House on Main was even better than the pictures. We would definitely stay again. We love that everything in town is within walking distance.

This house was so cute and was in the best location!

Step inside Little House on main and you'll feel like you are inside a magazine. Every inch of this cottage is oozing with style. Just steps from the best dining Blowing Rock has to offer and a stones throw from the best hikes in the Blue Ridge. There is something for everyone in this sweet town.

Second time guests at the Little House on Main. We will continue to come each year as it’s perfect for 2 families with little kids. Love the fenced in yard and gated porch to keep little ones in. The bunk room is perfect for a fun sleepover that our boys loved! Gas fire place makes for cozy nights in and walkability to breweries, restaurants and shops makes getting out easy!

This was our 4th stay at LHOM and it was perfect! We stayed 5 nights and had a ball. Sat out every night on patio with a roaring fire and festive lights,cooked on the gas grill,and enjoyed every minute. The house is well stocked with towels, kitchen needs,and even a gorgeous bar!The best part is the front porch and the gas fireplace in living area. We will definitely be back several more times in 2024. Our Blowing Rock home away from home!

We loved the location of the Little House on Main. The accommodations and front porch setting were perfect for our family of four. We were fortunate to find an opening in availability for Labor Day weekend and would consider making this an annual tradition.

My 2nd time staying at this house. Always the cleanest, nicest house. We were in town for birthday celebration. Little House on Main is the perfect house for a group of girls or family. House is fully equipped. So close to everything! We didn’t move our car until we departed. House is beautiful and a must stay if in the Blowing Rock area. The brick parking area and flagstone patio around fire pit, is a nice addition.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is decorated beautifully and in a great location for walks to shops, restaurants, coffee and breweries. We came with another family and the home was spacious for 4 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog! We enjoyed the front porch swing and warm electric fireplace. I hope there will be an addition of a hot tub on the patio they are currently constructing- that would make this adorable cottage even better!

We loved the week we spent at the rental titled Little House on Main. The only suggestion I have is to put a film on the glass front door to where you can see out but someone outside cannot see in. Also need something similar on the back door glass.Also please check the utensils in the drawers because scissors and a couple of the spatulas in the drawer were dirty.

A girls reunion to the high country! This house was clean, equipped and beautifully designed. We loved the inside and outside fireplace/pit. We said several times that we would be back to stay in this rental. The ladies at the reality company were super friendly and welcoming. Thanks Jenkins!

Four first grade friends met for an unforgettable visit to The Little House on Main. The decor and quality of kitchen equipment and fine linens made it exceptionally pleasant. The location is perfect. We walked to and from dinner two nights of our stay. It was absolutely perfect for a fabulous trip to the beautiful NC mountains.
