Great place to spend your vacation

This is our second time staying in Fair Haven. It is perfectly outfitted for 2 families and we love that everyone has their own en-suite bath and there is a half bath in both common spaces. 2 sets of washer/dryer is another wonderful perk for 2 families. The only complaint we had would be the cooking utensils or lack there of, and the knives were not sharp. We bought a set of steak knives to use for a nice steak meal we prepared and left them at the house. Will definitely be back!

Nice home, staff very helpful. A few issues with items not working but staff responsive.

Had a wonderful stay. The views were fantastic and the accommodations were perfect fir our family. Had everything we needed to cook our thanksgiving meal

4th year we have stayed here and rented for a month. We are good renters. If a light bulb needs replacing we buy one. House was clean, and we like the house.
Deck is great and we use if often. Things that would help us in considering renting again next year would be s new grill. The one there is unusable.We tried cleaning the racks and they are beyond it. This has been true for at least 2 years. So, we have been unable to use it.
Sofa needs to be replaced. The cushions on the sofa are almost flat, and it is difficult to get up and down from it. Since it faces the TV we sit there at night .
I hope you and the owner will understand that we are giving answers to the
“Rental experience” request! Most of our experience is positive.

For a winter/Christmas fun time for my grandkids and family, my wife and I rented an amazing house in Blowing Rock, N.c. This was our second vacation this year in Blowing Rock using Jenkins Vacation Rentals. The first was in a smaller house in the woods where we took our dogs. This one is a few blocks from the top of the ski lift at the Appalachian Ski Resort. The view from the vacation house was absolutely spectacular. The house was actually much better than the advertised description. Jenkins provides excellent customer service. We skied at all Appalachian Ski Resort, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and Beech Mountain Resort, all within a very short drive. We highly recommend Jenkins if you want a great, convenient, professionally managed vacation.

First, this house is just lovely. Comfortable layout and all the amenities of your own home. Well stocked kitchen. Very nice long range view from the back deck. We used this home as a base for riding the Blue Ridge Parkway and visiting Banner Elk, Boone and of course, Blowing Rock. Places we've been to many times but always enjoy. It was great to escape the heat in Florida for a week. We did have just perfect weather. The short driveway is steep but certainly manageable with a standard car or SUV - I'm sure 4wd would be necessary in winter though. Having the grill on the deck was a real plus as well. We had no complaints with our stay/home. Only annoyance was the kitchen sink faucet has a slow drip that is hard to stop :). Would stay here again.

Our group of five older friends enjoyed Fair Haven for the second year. We've been making this trip together for about 10 years and Fair Haven is our favorite property. Very beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. The house has been beautifully furnished and we couldn't have asked for anything that would have made our visit more enjoyable. Jenkins Rentals made renting This property so easy and helped us enjoy our visit.

Fair Haven offered everything our family needed for a week in Blowing Rock. The house was lovely and the mountain sunsets were treasured each evening.

Our rental home was a great experience. We were in a great location, the house was spacious and had everything we needed for our seven day stay.

We had a group of 7 older adults (55-80) and stayed a week in this fabulous home. Fair Haven is roomy, comfortable and well furnished. We were entirely pleased with this house and can't wait to stay there again in the future.

This was the perfect home in every way. The view was amazing. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely stay here again.
